Client Results

Client Results: Rankings Before and After

Here are two of our SEO clients in Semrush, a tool that tracks where a site shows up in Google. Same report, two dates: right around when we started, and October 30, 2026.

We left out their names and towns on purpose. Both owners agreed to share their numbers. Neither wants a phone full of strangers checking up on us. If you'd like to talk to one of them, ask, and we'll put you in touch.

How to Read These Numbers

Keywords in the top 3
Searches where the site shows up in the first three organic results on Google. It's the number we care about most.
Keywords in the top 10
Searches where the site is anywhere on page one. In the tables below, it's the top 3 plus positions 4 through 10.
Total ranking keywords
Every search where the site shows up in the top 100 results. A big jump here usually comes first, then those keywords climb.
Semrush organic traffic
Semrush's own estimate of visits from Google. It isn't pulled from the client's analytics, so treat it as a trend, not a count.

SEO website

Roofing Contractor, Wisconsin

We launched a site with more than 130 pages for this roofer in mid-February 2026. The pages cover the communities it works in, not just the town where the shop is.

The top-3 count is the one to look at. Going from 2 to 72 means dozens of searches where this roofer is now one of the first names a homeowner sees. See how we approach roofing marketing.

Wide-area Texas SEO

Land Clearing and Excavation Company, Texas

This one started from almost nothing. In mid-February 2026 the site ranked for 36 searches, and none of them were on page one.

We built a wide-area SEO strategy around the Texas counties it actually works in. Land clearing jobs are out where the land is, not next to the shop, so a radius around one address was never going to cut it. More on that in our excavation marketing guide.

What These Charts Don't Show

Semrush tracks rankings. It can't tell you how many of those searches turned into booked jobs. That's why every client also gets a real-time reporting dashboard where we track calls, form submissions, lead quality and keyword rankings.

Rankings also take a while. Most of our SEO clients see meaningful ranking improvements within 60 to 90 days, and it compounds from there. Look at both charts: the first couple of months barely move. Then they do.

If you need the phone ringing sooner, that's what Google Ads and Local Service Ads are for. With those, calls often come in within the first week.
